This single day educational course provides the personal trainer, strength coach, and or student of exercise science with anatomical, biomechanical, and physiological education on the proper performance of selected resistance exercise based movement patterns. The student who successfully completes this course will leave with the unique capacity to provide exercise instruction for clientele presenting with a wide range of complexities.

Understand why resistance exercise is essential for achieving fitness goals.
Understand what contributes to a safe and positive training environment.
Understand the physiological components in resistance exercise.
Understand the biomechanical (i.e., multijoint/planar/optimal ranges of motion of compound movements) concepts and their relations with resistance exercise.

Where other courses have established the primary associations of the squat, hip-hinge, lunge, horizontal/vertical push, and horizontal/vertical pull movement patterns, we seek to focus attention on the movement patterns application with to a wide range of clients. This may include the use of a traditional dual cable pulley, dumbbells, kettlebells, various other free-weight implements.
The primary anatomical and biomechanial properties will be identified and explained for all included exercises. While prior knowledge on the topics is welcomed, it is not required.
Attendees can leave this course with the comfort of knowing that their individual style of exercise training will be improved upon and as a result superior to that of their immediate counterparts.
